Trax 2008 - Posted by Alex
TRAX is the UK’s biggest and best event for all performance and modified cars. Held on Sunday 7th September and is located at the home of British Motorsport, Silverstone Circuit, no other UK car show offers so much. Whether you’re putting your own car through its paces on the track and the 0-60 Sprint, taking a high speed passenger ride on the world famous Grand Prix Circuit, getting to grips with a Lotus Exige on the Stowe Circuit, or simply watching the action and checking out the 4500 display cars, TRAX is the ultimate day out for any performance car enthusiast. This is not a Vauxhall only event and so will have a lot of varying makes and models on display as well as a huge variation of modifying styles.

VBOA National Rally 2008 - Posted by Alex
Well was an excellent event, despite poor weather in the run up and some heavy showers on the Friday night it picked up on the Saturday and Sunday was absolutely fabulous weather wise. There were plenty of VX's, Opel's and Bedfords on display from old Victors up to the current range of Astra's and Vectra's. There was also the GM years display where the Mk3 was provided by our very own Kev_mk3 with his excellent condition Phase 2 GSi. Was a good turnout by our members with a lot prefering to camp for most of the weekend. The evening antics were very memorable. If you are interested in the pictures of the event then please see here
Performance Vauxhall Show 2008 - Posted by Alex
This was the first show of the year for our members and was a huge success for the Club. We had over 45 MK3 Astra's in attendance on the day and had an excellent stand location. This was a lot of our members first ever show and the feedback from them is that they had an amazing time and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Our stand this year was extremely busy with non-members this can be partially attributed to a recently Fast Car featured Astra Van owned by Ian Pinder who was doing demos with his fabulous audio system throughout the day, mostly it was down to the vast array of different styles of MK3 Astra on our stand everything from Vans and Estates to the regular Hatchback.
