the colour is hemi orange, should be able to get it from any ampar outlet, ordered a cam kit last night, which was a kent supersport thinck it's bout 2down from race spec but i wonted some drivability, it is not the origanil head to the car it was already ported and polished when i bought it, and it aint a bad job either, im aiming for 100bhp, aint running no filters just runing straight through the trumpits, maybe a lil bit of mesh so lil birds dont get sucked in

Well done mate  I had a 1.4 engine in my nova saloon last year, I had a 4branch and twin Webbers on it. When you add the 4 SPEED BOX  it flew like a rocket. Just imagen a 2 door nova saloon – no front grill stripped with 2 bucket seats on its bottom on 15’s. Yes when I raced a BMW his mouth hit the floor when he couldn’t keep up

I cant wait to see it complete

What engine is it? 1.4 8v Spi or Mpi ????? any more spec on this :D

well yer it was a 1.4 spi (c14nz), umm full spec as if fink ive said most of it:twin weber 40's supersport cam 312 deg duration i fink, four branch decat sportex exhaust, 10mm leads poted polished head kent power pully, and a lightened flywheel at a later date. from what i have been reading in the vaux mags should be about 115bhp, once ive stripped it out should help alot too (will be getting two buckets and a half cage

lol yeh they will make a bit of difference most difference will be in noise probably, but to get true good hp figure out the carbs its worth doing wot im doing like ported head bigger valves ect, btw due to motocross commitments the car will be for sale in a couple of monthes all finished so ill let you all no any intrest let me no i will be open to offers

benlee

carbs.

instead of haveing on throtle body for 4 cylindered you get one for each cylinder so you can tune each cylinder to have the correct fuel air ration then an avrage over the 4 cylibders.
also theres less air flow restriction of the air to the engine.

umm not sure at the moment but probablly around the 1500 mark maybe a lil more or a lil less, not unless im made an offer of it as itll wil sit in a week or two with will be running with the carbs and everything all it will need then is shocks exhaust and however made you decide to goo with the inside
