go to halfords and buy the meguires (yes i have spelt it wrong) clay kit - its cheapest and best to learn.

You wont realise but it will REALLY clean your paint work up :)

I got the meguires kit from halfords but you can probably pick one up on ebay or something. You run the clay across the car's bodywork until it feels smooth to the touch, folding the bar onto itself when its gets dirty and using the Quick detailer as a lube - you can also use a small mixture of car shampoo and water.

what i do is

clean the car.................
dry it.....................
put quick detailer on the car and rub the clay bar on the wet patch - keep it wet and make sure it doesnt stick as that will scratch................
use the cloth provided to buff off the wetness.................

once the car is done was it and then dry it again - then polish / wax it to seal it all up

you can use just water as a lubricant. its cheaper and it will last a hell of a lot longer :thumb:

any clay will do really its all personal preference tbh

for the lube you dont need to get a quick detailer spray you can use a water/car shampoo mix as long as it provides a lube for the clay bar to glide over rather than drag on the paint.

if you drop the clay bar on the floor throw it away as it will have bits of **** stuck to it that will damage the paint...
