Finally finished updating the forum and getting the domains to switch over.

There are quite a few changes to the forum software most noticeably the new 'Community' drop down menu on the navbar which is where the social groups are located, these have had a major overhaul in this version of vBulletin, and you can now subscribe to the groups as well.

I have updated the arcade, Garage software, downloads software, and also added a few new things which won't show until I have tweaked them.

As you will no doubt notice I have re-jigged the navbar's at the top to make it tidier and easier to navigate (I hope). Also makes it easier for me to update templates etc....

If anyone comes across any issues regarding the forum then please use the HelpCenter. And I will do my best to sort them as soon as i can.

Anyways I'm off to bed now as haven't been to bed yet :o

General comments can be posted in here if they're not related to problems or issues you've found.


I'll be back online later to see how things are going :lol: If it's anything that is critical then PM a member of the Admin team as they will be able to reach me on my mobile.

Looks good mate and I like finding the new stuff, already found some of it :heh: although the social group re-jig will take some getting use too.

Medals should be sorted when the forum re-assigns them in the early hours, if it doesn't then I will need to look into it some more :lol:

No as not really worthy of a medal for that plus i don't think the vbExperience software supports iTrader iirc

sorry al :lol: but i hate this update tbh. It takes like 10 tries for me to login, i dont wanna see my membership info everytime go to my control panel, i dont want to be "taken to my posts" and waiting times are becoming quite a bore!!

Sorry al i know u dont design it im just expressing my feelings for the new changes lol!

The membership info was added as people were always contacting me to ask when it ran out so it was added on to the usercp, the speed issues are being looked into.

Unfortunately I only have so much time off work when i can look into these things, but they are being looked into and will be resolved all we ask is patience while we look into them.

Sorry Alex it sounded like a dig and wernt ment too. I just fort id say it to see if anyone was experiencing similar issues! I appreciate the work that goes into the club. I was just getting a few speed issues!!

havent read through every post on this thread but incase no one has mentioned it ive noticed that it keeps trying to post twice. it comes up with the message ' you have to wait ...... secs before posting again '

Yeah but there are still underlying issues we need to sort, so the forum is going off at 11:15am as per the announcement and my other thread

We're back now, speed should be a lot better. We have tested everything as far as we know it is al working as before please open a HelpCenter ticket if you find a problem. Any general comments please post here.

I can only get on using http://mk3oc.globalgold.co.uk/ the normal URL tells me that the board is closed for updates etc.

Yes i know as i said to Dave this is being sorted at the moment but to stop you having to wait use the above address, tomorrow will need to use the normal address.

And that is more of a HelpCenter ticket issue as i had posted above, general commetns in here please and issues in the HelpCenter :lol::doh:
