This thread is for you to post in if you spot something in a scrappy that may be of interest to any other member in the region.

If we can try and use the below format it helps to keep it tidy

What is it? A description of the item

Where is it? The name and address of the scrappy along with any details to pinpoint where it is in the scrappy

Pic? If you can get a pic of it then great

Well I had a rummage around the breakers this afternoon, only needed some parcel shelf straps, 1 washer jet but got 3, electric mirror switch and its bit of loom, oh and a single outlet washer pump for Kev, I got all the items FOC and no I didn’t put them in my pocket or bag.

Had a choice of 20+ Astra’s ranging from the basic right up to the CD & GSi models.

These are at Clwyd breakers in Ruabon

Another CD again another one with electric mirror loom but no mirrors, this car is still complete inside and its running a C18XE, but its missing its single outlet washer pump as I got that for kev

HK motors Ruabon which is right next door to the one above but a little more expensive when it comes to parts.

The body work on this was spot less

This Cesaro is great condition and complete the wheels are very clean.

They are good HK has another yard in minera which is the feeder yard to Ruabon one.

would be cheaper to get to a scrappy ur self rather than getting stuff like that posted. plus every scrappys has a mk3 astra in it they are every where mate

jcarcher1983 is right, pretty much every scrapyard has a mk3 knocking about. but on the other side of the coin, there really isnt a scrappy nearby, about 20miles to the nearest one and its only a small yard. i may have to go up there again myself soon so i'll have a look for you if you like?
