End Of Year Go-Karting Meet.

Its that time of year for us to have our final get together of the year and as last years event went welll iut will be go-karting again.

Well I made contact with “The Circuit” for our final meet of the year and they have done us the same deal as last year £25 for the night

The Sunday Night Open Grand Prix starts at 6:50pm so I suggest we get there for 6:30pm

I've added a poll so we can sort out a date.

All drivers can pay on the night.

The Sunday Night Grand Prix. These involve ( after a detailed safety briefing ) warm up laps for each driver, four guaranteed race heats each, regardless of finishing position and those who have gained the most points in the heats go through to the semi finals and then the top six drivers go through to the Grand Final. Champagne and trophies are awarded to the top three drivers. All drivers must be aged 16 or over, and places for the Sunday Night Grand Prix cost £25per driver.


Grand Prix drivers get to use our new outdoor section of track -
"Thunder Road" which is only opened for Grand Prix Events

The above events include free race gear hire, all we ask is that you wear sensible footwear eg. trainers. Computer print outs of results/lap times are available on request.

Right that’s it the poll has now closed and the date is set for the go-karting to take place on Sunday 13th December.

If anyone want to meet up in Wrexham and travel down in convoy like last year let me know and we’ll sort out a time and meeting point.

We need to get there for 6:30 to give us enough time to get suited up.

:o the main curved straight (if that makes sense) is the only passing place as I can block the rest quite easy, but if someone gets a run on me out of the tunnel, i'm doomed into the sharp right.:sad:

ok spoke to my mate and he went last saturday to the circuit and said they have got new karts and they are a load faster than the old ones he said top end is 45MPH now only thing he said is the tyres once they have a few races really start to go off so should make it a lot more intresting
