A 6MP DSL will out perform a 10MP Powershot all day long. Its all to do with the sensors they use and the glass in the lens. Point and click cameras produce good pics but DSLR's with half decent glass produce amazing pics. It's a whole different technology and shouldnt' really be compared. My...

The 1000D's are aimed at entry level users. The naming is quite misleading. I'd have a 400/450 over one.

True, SD is cheaper, especially if you by £15's worth of 8GB, quality memory! I can get 8GB of CF for £10 if I want some memory that will lose and corrupt pictures. The ExtremeIII is regarded as one of the best and most reliable media on the market, so worth the extra. What I'm getting at is...

What you need to work out is where the torque is at its peak in relation to revs. So you rev it past peak torque then when you change up it fall back into peak torque. It will make naff all difference in a 1.4 matey. Just give it death in each gear :)

Why SD? CF is superior to SD and cheap enough at £17 for 4GB of the ExtremeIII.

I don't give two hoots what they're like in real life. It makes no odds to me at all as I don't socialise with them. On screen they rank in my top 10 of annoying p****s.

If they sacked the two presenters who are usually in the studio I'd be really happy. Tiff and Jason are a good laugh and I love the way VBH always seems to be so excited about driving cool cars. However the other two want to eat **** and **** off ASAP.
