    yea spray brake cleaner around and see if the engine revs rise. whats the condition of you air filter and intake pipe from air box to throttle body?

    yea thats correct, if their 160mph leccy clocks they should be 7k rpm the early ones were 140mph mechancial clocks and 8k rpm I mixed and matched mine so I have leccy clocks, but fitted the 8k rev gauge

    Erm i think it may only be the f18 and f20 that had the sliding input shaft. Youll know if it is possible because your gearbox will have an inspection hatch as half of the bell housing. If not, it will be subframe off, its a pain, but it's do able, you just need a hand gettin it back in. or use...

    yea you have changed the fuel pump twice now though haven't you? thats how i read it? So the fuel pump shouldn't work harder as such, but fuel press should stay at least the same under throttle, usually it will actually rise because the regualtor will be a rising state type of reg.

    have you checked the fuel filter is facing the correct direction? Also check the fuel pressure while driving? run the line all the way into the car and hold the gauge. There is a very big difference between static fuel pressure and fuel pressure underload!

    Good to hear from you andy! I think the z20leh engine have gone up a fair amount, but they are the most direct fit possible. does a zlet comply? cheap cheap would be zlet, that conversion loom everyone runs, job done

    Yea my 1.4spi used to do this when the headgasket had gone, fire it up and the coolant that ha seeped into the bore wets the plug and causes a misfire
