I had something similiar happen to my old Gsi and it turned out to be a dodgy ignition barrell.

hi i changed dials on my mech. clocks to white dials and when i did i pulled out the needles:doh:, and now my speedo is reading about 20mph out, all the rest work fine.is there any way of fixing this?

its been a while so here is a bit of an update.a lot has happend since the last time i posted this! whilst at pvs08 bought an intercooler with all the pipework for very little money so had to get an engine to go with it!! before car jacked up and old engine out LET ready to go in...

a bit of an update. got both the quarter panels replaced as there was chunks of rust fallin off the arches everytime i washed the car:Cry: swapped the 17"s for standard fan blades which are very rare over on this side of the water!! i'l try get a few more pics up tomorrow evenin.

thanks old wheels were kerbed and scratched. would like to get a set of standard wheels but they are fairly rare over here.

is the earth on the back lights or the headlights?

the right indicators on my astra gsi arent workin properly. if i hav my parking lights or my dipped lights on in the car the indicator on the right hand side of the car stay on constant and wont go off. but if the lights are off the indicator works fine but the full lights flash everytime the...

is there a way of getting around the imobliser because the car came with no key and the ingnition barrell is burst open.?:Cry:

ya the engine management light keeps flashing when ignition is turned on.

ya but i serviced mine about 800miles ago. it only started today it never done it before. i hav been told it mite be timing or water in the spark plug
