It has been a while since i have really updated this, and have not taken all that many pictures as we have been very busy. So i think my last post - i had just started to bolt a few bits on. I must say a massive thanks to Gary & Dan from APT for helping get it back together and ready in time...

Thanks for the kind comments guys... Bit of a picture update.... So black underseal is now removed, a few more during pictures here. Then the zinc plated parts arrived, so fun and games trying to work out where they all go :crackup: Made a start bolting things back...

So with it looking like we are cutting it very fine for Japfest, the only sensible thing is to strip it some more right? :eek::wallbang::crackup:

A little more progress... Got the offside half of the underside pretty much clear of underseal now, just a few little bits which we will get with a final clean. Yesterday we started on the nearside, and made some decent progress.... the underseal is soooooo thick in some places it is unreal...

So lastnight myself and Carly spent some quality time together :crackup: Made some progress, and the 'done' pile of parts is getting bigger now :D Some parts not pictured, which we finished off lastnight. All that is left now, is waiting for the zinc plated bolts/nuts/washers etc to come...

Been slacking on the Evo, but had a couple of evening's on it now and plan to spend quite a few up and coming evening'son it so i can get it on the road come spring time. So picked up the powder coated parts, took them a while to complete them but main thing is they are done now. All...

Well a little bit of progress is better than no progress!! Made a start on cleaning bits up, although barely got any pictures. I now have a side of the workshop for clean bits, ready to go back on, and a side for bits yet to do... Also started polishing the exhaust, crap picture but...

Not a heavy update, but had very little time to touch the Evo. Last night i spent around 2 hrs on it, and started putting things in piles, bolts/brackets etc for gold zinc plating, and bolts etc for olive green & pile for black etc etc. Also got a few bits together for powder coating. Last...

I got another couple of hours, but nothing more since then. Going to be dropping the subframes etc this week, really clean it all up properly :D

The insurance seemed to drag a little, took them a while to approve the works. Good news is, engineers are aware that the Evo's are rising in value as they valued this at £20k! :eek: Higher than i expected them to say as they usually go low! I found a couple of used offside front wings, but...

Another little update... The wiper arms had been hydro dipped in a carbon effect, so i got on to Ross Sport who sorted me out some new wiper arms.

Not really much of an update, but i had the dent man come in on Monday, and whilst here i asked him to do the two small dents on the Evo... One on the drivers door and one just below the nearside rear light. I popped the rear light out to give him access, and set about giving the area a clean...

I decided to try and find time for the rear arch seals, Gav at RossSport was fantastic as usual, and got me the seals & a few clips i needed in no time at all! :D So before, during and after.... Then it was back to APT who did a very quick turnaround, gearbox out, 3rd gear...
