is the above engine same in cavalier and Calibra mount and loom wise I’m after parts for a conversion and found a calibra with a C25xe fitted was going to buy that as a donor
Didn’t really want to change flywheel clutch etc to convert to f20 as only just replaced the clutch with a 2.6 one which won’t work with the f18/20 and most f20s will probs need a refurb anyway got a nice strong f25 sitting here then you got the hassle of extending the mount etc
im playing with the idea of fitting a 3.0 v6 into my astra and keeping the f25 can I convert my hydraulic gearbox to mechanical arm or convert my pedal to hydraulic? Or do I simply have to use a f25 from a cav/calibra. Obviously I would rather use my box as I know it’s strong with no grinding or...
Any ideas what I can tap into to connect the wire as gunna tidy my wiring up the weekend. Would rather go to a switched live but don't know which 1 down there to go to
Kind of found the problem it's the red and white wire near the ecu, was on one off the plugs you need to cut off. But wasn't a red and white in the car loom. Connected to a live wire and it works. Does anyone know what wire it would be connected to
im in the process of fitting a c20ne to my mk3 and all in and wired but getting no eml light on the dash any idea what could be the problem as could do with getting the car back down and running ready for work in the morning
