Hi Everyone,

I could really do with getting some bigger stoppers and really don't know where to start.

I would like to put 5 stud hubs on to increase the range of wheels i could fit.

Any ideas on how far to lower it on 16" wheels as well?

Cheers

Andy

to go 5 stud you need to get yourself some 5 stud front legs from a cavalier/calibra turbo or V6. you can also take the nice big 288mm brakes from thaese cars too. but you will have to use the astra mk3 shock absorbers and top mounts.

on the rear of the car its easier to use cavalier V6 rear 5 stud hubs as these are a direct fitment on the astra, also saab 900 turbo rear huibs are a direct fit.

If you really want to go mad, 308mm vectra gsi brakes can squeeze under 16inch cav turbo wheels with fag paper clearance, as drizz had on his estate, but as jay says 5 stud calibra legs come with 288s on them and are plenty man enough for a v6 :)

if you need a full five stud conversion you can nick bits from a saab 900 too as long as its a mk2 (1994-1998)
