my mates offered me £800 for it - heres the stats

it is a fair price and you got to consider that your selling to a mate, you don't really wana rip him off and make them pay more than they might need to. if you want abit more for it then just sell on to someone else.

im not letting him have the parts for it lol im not that generous that will cost him extra, and ive told him if he dont buy it before its due for re-mot, i'll want what it costs to go for mot and maybe a bit more cos it will have 12months ticket on it

he's one of my best mates! not that he'll have it for long before he kills it! after all he's killed a mint fezzy si, pug 205gti, and a skoda octavia 1.9tdi.... how do u kill a veedud diesel engine? lol

but i'll almost break even on roughly what ive spent on bits for it, im not giving it away, i need the money back for the type R, sooner i can get that, is sooner i can buy another mk3 or mk4 (prob build a gsi turbo van) or build a track mk3/mk4 so im only leaving the family for a little while lol

just discovered in my service history that its had a rebuild, and from what i can gather from the invoice, the cambelts snapped, all the valves kissed, etc, so it had a nice rebuild and only 32k ago! no wonder it still pulls like a train! lol
