Well must be about time I started one of these for the new car. As some of you know the last astra project came to holt as i wanted to do things properly and there was just too much rust on the last shell for me to ever be pleased. I set it back to standard, kept all the goodies and sold it on for double the price i brought it for, so im all happy!

Old Astra Diary

I was on the look out for a nice 1.4/1.6 GLS in great condishon with about a grand to spend preferably in green and this came up!!

Cost: £950

>>1996 Vauxhall Astra 1.4i GLS 16v
>>Brand new MOT with £800 spent the week before i brought it.
>>12 months tax
>>£170 Bluetooth headunit

Getting petrol on the two hour drive home I noticed the horrible wheel trims

Ive owned it a week now but due to the weather all ive done is too put the nice black cav gsi alloys on with brand new set of toyo proxys. Also put on angel crystal indies!!

Plans

>> Lowering 60mm as you can see is needed!
>> Full GSI kit, Type S Splitter, Rear Rieger bumper!
>> Put in my Gsi seats and Black dash
>> Black door cards
>> Splitter
>> Black rear lights
>> Black angels
>> Induction kit
>> Racing pipe
>> Decat
>> Get my ice back in, custom boot build in wheel well?
>> Loads more to come!!

Starting to wonder why you wanted them

My opinion is, if you spend money on alloys, make them noticeable! Love the ones on Kev's old green astra pictured above for instance. Also like mine of course

Lol i wanted them as i hadnt got any and have another set of gsi's so had nothing to lose. I like the cav slabs. do u want me to spray them neon colours lol. u wudda prefered my old 17" multispokes dave. on the last car!

get a reiger front bumper no ones got one in the S/E and you wont be the same as me, lee and rich then

Not neon wheels, not my style at all mate. Not a massive fan of multi spokes either actually. I like mine though
