They probably can, it's just extra cost I would imagine and means there is less advantage of going for the golds

So I had a look back, fronts were 350, too soft
Went 650, stupid hard
Got some 550 which were alot better ( I then sold these to tom)

Ended up 450 which I'm happy with, best for country lanes. There is some big old bumps down my favourite road back to my house so that probably why I ended up with a much softer spring.

You'll have to see how you get on mate. It's all a blurr of springs haha

I found my 650 so I never got rid of them which is weird!

Not much to report this week, only been doing some little jobs here and there. Busy at work at the moment, hopefully I’ll get a day off this weekend.
I had to buy a sliding runner for my seat because in its fixed position to the subframe, my legs were touching my chin nearly, very uncomfortable. For £30, it’s made a massive Improvement, important to be seated Comfortable. I used loctite on the seat bolts when fixing it to the subframe, it was virtually impossible to undo the bolts underneath the seat, i bashed my finger while fighting it, My nail is likely to fall off now!! Painful! So to make life easier, I just unbolted the subframe with the seat fitted, put it on the bench and then fixed the slider.

As I’ve got no brakes at the moment, and having difficulties bleeding them, I thought to get a new master cylinder, and as I’ve got Vectra SRi brakes all round, i researched into the Vectra B 23.8mm master cylinder upgrade. Might as well do it now whilst I’m in the perfect situation to do so. After hours of researching and emailing companies and sellers on eBay, I think I’ve finally found one. The item however is from Germany, I’m quite confident it’s the right one. Very cheap too, I think it was £51 all in with VAT and &P

Last night, I was faffing around doing little jobs and found That the left hand front indicator wasn’t working & the side repeater Wiring was missing! I looked at the right hand side repeater wiring, there’s a plastic 2 Pin plug by the windscreen washer bottle and a connector that plugs into the repeater bulb holder. Well, for some bizarre reason, it’s missing on the left hand side. All i have is the branch from the loom, which is 2 wires presumably chopped before the plastic plug. No 12v from the wires. I remembered last night that when I bought the car, that indicator didn’t work.

Here’s what I’ve got on the right hand side and presumably needed on the left hand side,

And this is all i have on the other side. 2 dead wires.

I’ll look deeper into this tonight, see if i can get 12v to it. In the meantime, I’m gonna need that 2 pin plug and connector Ideally.
