Astra Gsi (redtop) Vs Corrado 16V

Out of interest who should and who do you think would win a straight line battle? I think the Corrado has about 136 bhp as standard and i really doubt it is heavier than the GSi. It sounds like an easy decision although after driving the Corrado and being a passenger to a few battles with other cars i dont think there would be much in it. Cornering i know her Corrado would have meops:

there wont be a lot in it,but i'd expect the GSi to have the edge.

from personal experience its a VERY close thing !! i couldnt lose a corrado on a mile long straight and as soon as we hit the twisty stuff he left me for dead ops: if my defence he knew the roads alot better than i did, but i wasnt exactly being shy with the go go juice.

I wouldnt even try on the b roads, the Corrados handling is superb. Does any1 know the book stats for the Corrado 16v?

How accurate are those figures? I always thought the GSi was 0-60 7.4... 8 secs does sound abit more realistic time..

Nah i reckon an Astra gsi would smoke a Corrado.German cars are heavy fcukers.
