battery light comes on and off in high revs

on my astra gsi c20let everytime i boot it in second and third when i reach about 5 to 5 and half revs my battery light comes on the off cars got a brand new battery on it tightend the alternator belt but still does it can anyone help me on this one cheers lee

Good posability that your alternator is naffed, it might even be over chaging or you might have a bad earth, the alternator light will come on if the vaultege drops down any where near 11-12volts,
If i was you id run your car by a local garage end get then to do a charge test, they should do it for free, that way it should tell you what it is without spending any money first,

alternater sound' to me. as sed tho free test on it, when you change it if need be also change the aux belt and the tensoner.
btw try not to boot your car so much it will resulet in more money getting spent

I agree with above- alternator probably.

If your on single V Alt then mate sure the earth is good between the Alt and the bracket. They tend to brake down there.
