c20xe coolant leak, inlet manifold?!?!

well the astra is leakin coolant again, doesn't look like water pump, and ive just fitted a brand new genuine item less than 600 miles ago

now there is crystalized coolant all around the final nut on the inlet manifold, timing end, i know there is another chamber in the inlet manifold, besides the 4 inlets, molded onto the end of inlet 4 there is 2 holes, like an in and out, does this carry coolant?!

if so im wonderin if this is where my coolant is leakin from, is a very slow leak and is on the alternator, and down the back of the block.

Yes coolant flows at that end of the inlet manifold.

cheers, reckon this will b worth a good go then!, get a manifold gasket wen i get paid, there is a new 1 on there, but i did get it from auto vaux n everythin else they have ever done has been crap lol

also check the hose off the back of the water pump, they like to split, I have seen a few with a pin hole leak which sprays a very thin (and hard to see) line of coolant over the surrounding components.
