what do you have to do to turbo a c20xe ?

low compression piston
manifold for turbo

what else?

mate might as well buy a LET, most of the parts you need are already there!!

You need to run oil lines, inlet, exhaust, pipework, IC, oil cooler (if not already fitted)

Best bet is to find yourself a very knackered old let then rape it for parts!

Oh forgot to say that the bigger injectors are required!

Unless your going to uprate everything then buy a let.But if your going to buy better rods/pistons ect then be better off starting with a xe and building it up.

Well no,

However what your doing is pretty much making a LET using an XE block, they share the same parts, just various little differences, such as pistons cams, inlets etc etc.

if you got your hands on a knackered & complete LET (so easy to find ) it could be done easily.

put it this way you need a c20let loom, ecu, pistons, rods, fuel reg, injectors, turbo, amel valve, intercooler, boost pipes, tophat etc etc

all that is good to you from the xe is the block, alternator, starter.

your better off buying a complete c20let mate unless you got lots of cash and want to buy all the bits seperatly and build a c20xe turbo just using the c20xe block.

oh and another thing you have to do it tap the block for an oil feed to turbo :)

thought it was a waste of time just could of got my hands a a really cheap xe but there no point ! might as well weight for a let to pop up !
