how much am i lookin at for a belt change what did you guys pay jus so i know if im gunna get ripped off !!!

i was quoted £95 at my local garage but i know them been goin there for years to the average joe they charge £110
so not to much....thnx guys
Yeah it depends on the labour rate at the garage, I worked that out on £50 an hour which is the higher end of what garages charge.

take in to consideration of a timing belt kit (including tensioner) and also possibility of changing the water pump and thermostat especially if its the 8v engine i would highly recommend changing all those above, may cost a bit more but saves doing the whole lot again if something goes wrong.
Agree totally, would be seriously mental not to, but the 8V is easy to do the belt on, maybe get a mate to help you do yourself ?
