cav front leccy windows... will they fit?

does anyone know whether the front electric windows, motor and regulator out of a cavalier fit into my astra front doors? And is there modification required?

what i dont want to dso is strip my doors down and realise there aint a hope in hell

i did manage to bodge a cav eleccy front mechensm in my mk3 van when mine died, i had to re drill all 4 holes and just guestimate where they go, took a few attempts ended up with holes everywhere, and it wouldnt go all the way down, stayed proud about a inch.

For the effort involved mate just get some from an astra down the scrappy. shouldnt be more than a score.

yea i wouldnt bother with cav ones.

as said, not much point in trying really, scrappys are full of mk3 astra so just go harvest some =)
