Colour changes

Has anyone changed the colour of there headlining and dash and plastics in there car if so what did you use and how long did it last

I've done my headlining. Used Autoglym black dye. Then the beige plastics I used Halfords vinyl paint. Looks really good and has lasted 3 or 4 years so far

Cool Cuz I got Gray plastic everywhere and want black

Did you have to prep any of it or just let loose with the paint

Just made sure the plastics were clean and free of any grease etc with panel wipes.

Did you paint the whole dash as well and has anyone changed the colour of there seats

no but you could dye them I guess or just change the seats totally with 4 bolts

What about whole dashboard and what other cars seats will bolt in ie cav I know but saab?

that depends on how much work you want to do. Dash nothing else technically fits but you can fit other clocks like mk4 clocks not simple mind.

Seats, people on here have vxr seats in the front but have to cut door cards weld seat rails etc. rears differ hatch to estate etc so its all what you want to do and how far you want to take it.

Might just paint the dashboard and for now just need bolt in easy stuff until I have more time to mess around

get a black one for £30 and swap it. Save you painting it and when the sun hits it it peels. Your taking it out so may aswell.
