colour-coding

im thinking of fully colour-coding my bumpers, they need respraying anyway cause the guy that had it before me used the wrong shade of white AND did a horrible job, some parts even look like brush strokes

just wondered what everyone thought, whether i should get them redone and leave the black trim at the top or fully CC'd






oh by the way, also made the most of the nice weather and colour coded my door handles, looks 10000% better imo

I like my car in it's black and white state. Smoked tail-lights/side reps, (back to...) black door handles and trim, along with the black sun strip and black interior. I think colour coded cars look great, but white ones look a bit bland and pale.

I'll hopefully be getting some black angel eyes around Christmas as well, along with a white reiger grille.

well im planning on leaving the back panel and getting some dark rear lights, also looking at black angel eyes and indics. kinda hoping that gives it enough contrast to stop it looking like a white blob. just wondered what other people thought regarding the colour-coding of the bumpers

lol ive only just colour-coded the handles and spoiler spoiler is temporary anyway until i can find a GSI one goin cheap cause cash has been tight lately

I prefer most things the same colour but leave abit of black in here and there. i done everything white apart from lights and wheels.

ive just realised that my post was aimed at greg not you, i got you mixed up as i saw the white astra in the avatar and didnt look properly yeah with the spoiler it doesnt matter what you do then if youre getting a gsi one and colourcoded bumpers and handles are much nicer imo. getting black angel eyes and dark rear lights would be good also because you want something to break the colour up. maybe do the boot panel between the lights gloss black? ive seen that before looks really good

I've got a phase 2 so mine are already kinda colour coded. Might do the black trim though. After looking through Lee's thread and seeing the most amazing transformation I'm tempted.
