Costing

Alright guys,

Not sure if this is the right board (sorry if not admins). I was giving some thought about putting in a 1.8 16v into my lil 1.4 arizona. Just wondering what sort of total costing i would have to fork out for something like this? i see a fair few of you have done swaps and was just calling on your knowledge

lump = £150 / £200

Big block legs = £50

bigger brakes = £50

rear brakes = £60

fuel pump = £20

around £350 / £400 give or take, u might find parts alot cheaper i was just going on average, ofc rear brakes is optional.

i got big block legs and some 156mm discs and calipers and gsi/sport suspension in VGC that i will be selling soon, give us a shout when u ready to do your swop mate.

Sometimes it cheaper to pick up a whole 1.8 16v car for £400/500, use the bits you need, sell what you can from the rest of the car then weigh it in
