dash removal

anyone got a guide for dash removal? quickest and most complete way

Theres two torques either side, 3 thirteen mmm under scuttle and 2 or 3 thirteen mm under center console iirc..

if you disconnect the battery can you take the steering wheel off and not set off the air bag then just replace and connect the battery again or am i missing something

Thats correct mate but give it about half hour between disconecting battery and removing the air bag..

Don't do like I did and put the ignition on without putting the airbag back on first though as it will trigger the fault code and put the airbag light on. Vauxhall want £50 to turn it off !

You're not the only one, but courtenay I'm sure only charged me £20-£25.
You can switch the ignition on without airbag so long as you have a resistor across the connections, I cut an old airbag lead off at the scrappies and soldered a resistor on that, so a simple unplug airbag plug in lead.
Some airbag ecu's reset when replugged in, but not mine or yours!!
