My cars got plenty of BHP too! ....when its working  lol.

I was actually going to fit a "sports button" on mine so with the flick of a switch could run full boost or just actuator pressure.... then I decided nah.
Erm out of interest how would you do that

Exactly as Andy has said -

"That's basically how mine works, just a switch that cuts power to the boost controller to run wastegate pressure"

Just put a switch inline to the boost controller, cut it and default to close so it will just boost to actuator pressure..... switch is on and the boost controller will work as bleed off as set (mines controlled by my Omex's wastegate duty cycle map).

Question..... do you ever keep it at actuator pressure? lol

i do on track days, mine is 330ish on gate pressure iirc, if i try and run more power on track i just get more wheel spin and understeer.
your idea is basically how my boost controller works...

off means boost controller actuator open, so spring pressure
map A and B have different customizeable duty cycles for different power level, 370 and 416bhp iirc. 330 is a good power level down country lanes aswell, keeps wheel sprin and torque steer down, can be driven full throttle more etc.

Used to a fair bit actually yeah, especially in the wet, helps you when driving hard stop lighting the wheels up constantly. Flat shift 5th to 6th in the wet and you get wheelspin that pulls you to one side pretty bad

Could explain why I've killed my last lot of tyres

Ah man one time i spun the wheels going from 5th to 6th, wasn't even going very fast, poo'd my pants

haha yea ditto! now you don't get that in any modern car do you lol

Its what they call an "interesting" drive :) I've gotten used to fighting a little with the wheel, when I give a passenger ride though their reactions can be priceless!

This mega makes me want mine on the road :( hopefully this year but we shall see

superpro poly bushes for my lower arms! My sister has also got me 26mm poly bushes for my irmy anti roll bar i got off vauxhall tom. the link bushes are the same from early to late roll bar links, so all i need is the front bush for the lower arms, as well as the steering rack bushes which i fancy too.
