can someone help me on rear suspension to put in my wagon so its slammed as i have a low budget but i can save for a bit

Proper lowering springs are the best way, but a few people have used standard hatchback springs to lower the rear of an estate. I've done it the other way, using standard estate springs to raise the rear of a hatchback.

Depending on your laws, you might be able to cut your existing springs, it's illegal in the UK, but I wouldn't know about NZ...

Welcome to the forum you could cut the springs as ed said or Chevy cruise is what we call a corsa not sure they would fit / be ideal though

Corsa lowering springs:thumb:
Seen people use them on allsorts.
It would be dragging it's arse like a dog with worms

Yeah don't jack it up either or you'll lose the back ones

So I cut the springs and they are no where near captive and this is the out come. I'm now looking for rear shocks to make them captive cos the rules here if it's captive you are good to drive.
Any ideas on what shocks would make them captive

Sorry that it's been a while since I've posted up but I will be doing it more often now. A few things have changed now.
I've cut the rear springs and put 4x4 surf front shocks in and it's super captive and stiff. I'm goin to put softer springs in soon to get a little bit lower.
I've made a shotgun exhaust. The paint on the rear guards is just a test coat to see what it'll look like and I'm liking it a lot. I've also painted my bumpers

cracking work, are the rear arches rolled?

Rough but if it works lol Unlike us we have rust issues but we use so much salt on the roads in the winter the Sea wants it back

They had to be hammered out and need more when I go lower , I had to do it that way to even fit 15x9 0p rims on it without rubbing (205/50/15)
I am planing on going about this low in the rear , only needs a little bit more hitting #fitment

This spoiler that I made to fit is off a eg4 civic hatch (stock one) , it will be fibreglassed over to make it look all one but I am keeping the metal brackets and I'm letting them get surfaced rust to look dope , if anyone have any links for coilovers for the front that would be awesome

#35%tints soon on the 13th of June 2017.
This is a photo of it being regularly cleaned it looks rough at the moment because I haven't started panel and painting yet , I'm getting it to sit on its feet properly first then panel and paint. Then I'll be saving for a long time for the engine conversion and the ecu ect. I will be running a 20xel+t the turbo will be a ar/50

fantastic work do like this for comical and rare value as you dont really see them in NZ do you

Yes they are pretty rare , there are lots of the 5dr hatch backs though but I've only seen one other wagon in the last 2years of owning this car. Today is the day that some rust gets removed and all the rest is staying in the car hahaha. I'm getting the car kinda ready for a car show that is a 5 hour drive away hopefully it'll make it down there :) I'll put up all the photos of that day up on to this thread.

looking forward to it :)

Just one of the few things I'm doing before the club fest (fuel cap)
