My GSi is a standard light and the button is just a blank. I think only the convertables had the button? Allowed you to leave the top down and set the alarm without the ultrasonics setting the alarm off

No. Sports had them as standard also

mine has it R reg phase 2 GSI, and my brothers N Reg 1.8 Sport has it

...And different suspension, anti rollbar, spoiler, bonnet (or atleast without the vents)

Funny thing is that my brother has a Sport with a GSI engine in it - C20XE and I have a GSI with a sport engine in it - X20XEV!
