ebay nice gsi

Where do people get this idea of only 500 made, there was never an offical number of ph2s made.

Looks like a good motor but those wheels look **** imo

It is true mate i have the original launch brochure with mine.

They were billed as a 'Special Edition' but there was never a mention of how many, got the brochure at home as well, also have spoken to VX about it to confirm what is true or not

They were just made as a run-out model / end of line...Still a rare car. Think total vaux stated 268 still around as of a few issues ago (or something like that qty anyway!!)

It's not worth that in my eyes Neal. I'm on the look out for a tidy gsi too but tbh i'm just not feeling that one at all.

i seen it whilst looking at ebay, i did not know they made a 'Special Edition' so thought id post it on here for you lot to debate it,

if u got total vauxhall with the massive astra poster it says 1997 astra gsi limited edition

i have the same thing but its wrong as there was more than 500 made. It was classed as a special edition as Vauxhalls had a ton of bumpers and grills left so they got Irmscher to make sideskirts and a spoiler, Some shocks and springs off Bilstein and sold it as a run out model.

The 500 made is fiction even vauxhalls admit more where made as they had more than they thought

a few things with the add aswell, looks like a 4branch on there yet never thrashed or raced! I doubt hes not done it for a reason. Also £2k & its got 102k OTC! i wanted 2.3k min for mine with 4pots, over 20k LESS on the clock more mods & better condition FFS
