Hi all can someone help me out here ? Ok Its a Vectra "B" 2001, 1.8 16v.
I know i Know its not a MK3 But still maybe someone can help me. Ok ive had this motor for a while now and the ECU light has come on recently, It still ticks over and drives fine no problems, however i wanted to do the "Paperclip" test, looked on Topbuzz website and it says mine is Siemens 5.65, i have found the ecu 16 pin plug under the hand brake, and the instructions say to short pins 5 & 6, well there is no metal pin connector in the number 6 hole, just an empty space which kinda says no good shorting pin 6 to 5 !!!! Anyone any idea which pins to short to read the code ?? Also my mates MK4 is exactly the same cheers in advance guys.
