Got a problem with my phase 2 x20xev Astra GSI which I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on? When started from cold it runs fine, but if once started I have to stop at a garage etc and turn engine off, when restarted the EML light comes on and I have the usual will not rev over 4000 rpms and it will continue to do this all of the time until I stop and let the car completely cool down for a couple of hours and it will then start normal again with no EML. I have changed the Lambda sensor / plugs and cleaned out the idle control valve since it has been doing this but not made any difference
Iv just ordered a new Throttle sensor as a mate suggested this as possible cause so will give this a try but has anybody ever had this happen to them and did you solve, cheers
