Hi after noticing a knocking noise coming from the front right of my car i decided to get it up on the ramps at the weekend, everything on the front right was in order, but the antiroll bar linkage was not there on the passenger side :o, i have ordered a pair of these to fit before the mot at the end of the month, but i am wondering if it could be something else causing the knocking if it's coming from the front right?
also, is it a simple job to replace the anti-roll bar linkage, and do i need to remove the suspension or anything or can i replace them with everything in place?

cheers paddy

to be honest mate it doesnt really matter where the knocking is coming from, id get those replaced asap. arb are easy to swap, top mounts etc means the whole leg has to come off. also check wheels bearings and lower arm bushes because they both cause knocking on accel and deccel

The knocking will be the roll bar link. Change that and see what happens. If the knocking stops look at changing the strut tops sometime soon

There's 2 two types of drop links, the nice easy ones that have a bolt at the top and at the bottom, and the pain in the ass types that 'slip' over the roll bar and bolt at the bottom.

Make sure you've ordered the right ones ;)

if they are the type you need there prob the easyest thing to change on the suspension, if it is the other type and there are two different diamiter of arb's with the push on type there a pain in the back side! good luck buddy.
