hey.
would it be better to get a lightened billet flywheel for an x20xev or try and find a flat type one from a c20ne? also how much improvement in throttle response and low end torque can one expect from such a mod?

A lightened flywheel will allow the engine to rev quicker as it's not having to turn such a heavy weight, so it would provide a better throttle response, it won't add any power in itself though

yeah, i understand that... but will that easier revving translate to a quicker uptake in the lower end of the revs?

and then, billet or flat type, is there a big difference and will it affect the clutch? thanks for being the font of knowledge you are mr alex

If you go for a lightened billet one designed for the XEV then you will still be able to use the same clutch, if you use a flat flywheel off of another engine then you will need to use a different pressure plate, not sure on clutch, should be able to still use the same on if the diameter is the same
