volkswagon golf MK v correction detail

This is a mk6 golf that i had in for a full correction detail recently,

on arrival it was grubby to say the least,

i started by snow foaming the car using valet pro ph nutural snow foam mixed with a little autosmart g101,

i then washed the car with a 2 bucket method and dodo juice sour power, the wheels were cleaned using smart wheels and the arches etc with G101


after the wash i clayed the car using dodo juice gentle grey

once this was completed i moved inside to dry the car,

now it was time to spot some defects

and take some paint readings

then tape up any delicate areas

on to polishing

this was done using
3M fast cut plus
megs #85
megs #83
megs #80
menzerna final finish
and dodo juice lime prime to finish

pads used were the full range of 3M pads

the exhausts were polished using autosol

i arrived the following morning to find this

once all the polishing was complete i moved outside to give a quick wash off

then i waxed the car using dodo juice super natural
dressed the engine with chemical guys bare bones as well as the under arches
any trim was dressed with chemical guys extreme shine dressing
tyres were dressed with highstyle
glass was cleaned with duragloss water repel wheels were waxed with colignite

and compleated

well worth it on a new car such as that

i could do with getting my car mop'd, bit too far away for myself though
