this is my 1st diary so be nice people

this is my 1.4 astra merit. paid £150 for it with 3 months tax and 4 months mot. ran sweet but when i got it home found out the headgasket had gone and also that i couldnt get it in to reverse  so had to replace the clutch aswell

so i got all the clutch and headgasket sorted and the car now runs like a dream. pulls like it should it every gear.

then i was given a set of 5 honda 6 spoke alloys with good tyres on so fitted them to the car. and also cavalier black seats front and back. so got them fitted in. still got to weld the brackets on to the rear bench so there secure

here are some pics of the car so far

small update today. raided my local car breakers and got a rev counter clock and a new exhaust manifold as i snapped one of the bolts off last night

it was only £15 and i didnt want to go through the pain i did with my last car. with the drill bit snapping in the hole. and i dont have a tap and die set either
