All you should need is an ignition live, an earth, and a switch... p*ss easy.
If you're struggling to find an ignition live on the fuse panel just look for something that comes on with ignition (such as cigarette lighter), also there are plenty of places to get wiring diagrams online if you spend a bit of time looking, or failing that just get a Haynes manual.

If you haven't got the loom in your car, I'd get down to a scrappy and cut the loom out of a calibra/cavalier or an astra that has one, will make it easier as you'll then have all the connectors for the seats and switches and then just wire it to positive and negative.

Brown-earth
Black with red stripe-?
Solid black-12v ignition
2 green with gray stripe-?
Switch 2
2 Browns-earth
Green with gray stripe-?

I wouldn't mind knowing either, got everything i need now just need to solder them in. I have the switch's with a good bit of loom on them, tray, seats (obviously 
) and a bit of loom from the seat.

Mine was a ph2 LS (1995, right on the changeover from ph1) and had no loom in place, never got round to wiring the seats in due to lack of switches, which is why Sam is trying to do it now
