does any one know of a guide on wiring heated seats in ive searched and cant find any

All you should need is an ignition live, an earth, and a switch... p*ss easy.

If you're struggling to find an ignition live on the fuse panel just look for something that comes on with ignition (such as cigarette lighter), also there are plenty of places to get wiring diagrams online if you spend a bit of time looking, or failing that just get a Haynes manual.

I wouldn't mind knowing either, got everything i need now just need to solder them in. I have the switch's with a good bit of loom on them, tray, seats (obviously ) and a bit of loom from the seat.

I may even have the full loom under my carpet but i doubt it. Its p2 ls

Mine was a ph2 LS (1995, right on the changeover from ph1) and had no loom in place, never got round to wiring the seats in due to lack of switches, which is why Sam is trying to do it now

Switch 1
Brown-earth
Black with red stripe- power to seat (I think!)
Solid black-12v ignition
2 green with gray stripe- Illumintation for the switch

Switch 2
2 Browns-earth
Green with gray stripe- Illumintation for the switch
solid black-12v ignition
Black with yellow stripe- power to seat (I think!)

I think thats how they are, I dont want to strip the loom back to double check as I have sold it although I will check what I can tonight.
