head unit and mfd not working

the mfd and head unit arnt working in the van, any ideas what could be wrong?

Ive checked and double checked the fuses in the fuse box

remember reading something somewhere about there being a link between the cig lighter and the HU but I can`t remember if it was for astras or my old defender... sorry i can`t help u more mate but try doing a search on here and mig...

just for anyone having this problem it turned out my ignition switch had come slightly undone, thank twelfty for the heads up
