Put a c14se engine into my mates astra mk3.Got the ecu/chip/transponder with the engine but the car dident have a immob wiring.
Looked up the diagrams on the net and connected the transponder plug up like this-
Red-12v
Black-switched live
Brown-earth
Blue/red-speedo
Brown blu-speedo
Blue/red-ecu/car plug in footwell
Got one left over which is brown/red.Anyone know what this does? It should go to the fault reader plug on the fuse box so dont think its important.
Done all that and still the ecu light flashed as the immob is still turned on.Ive taped the chip to the back of the transponder.Anyone got any ideas?
