i have been offered a corsa mk3 from a mate but its in a scrap yard due to family problems he is having and he cant afford to get it back out. he has asked me if i want it and all i have to pay is £160 to get it out of the scrap yard which he will sort for me and then its all mine, but this car has an engine in it which doesnt work so needs a new one i have been offered one which will b around £250-£300 and he knows someone who can change the engine for £150 so coming to a total of about £610 ish, it is fully bodykitted and a 2001 model.
do you think this could be worth it..??

yea why not get it done up and sell and make some profit

Imo nope its not. You can pick up one for about £1200 now. I think your mate mate is worried that if he dont pay up he have the scrappy guys after him. As most scrappys are run buy people you dont mess with type well esp up my way they are.

You be lucky if you can get the car road worthy for £600. Id rather have a car that is working then trying to get one working again because you always run into some sort of gremlins on the way.

Yer id say its worth it if you can get it all done for around £6oo then pull a bag of sand for it your laughing or you could even brake it, either way your wining..
