isuzu 1.7td conversion immobiliser issue?

hello all. am in the middle of fitting a 1.7td isuzu engine in a corsa, and up untill now ive been ok.

as the engine came out of a 1997 astra it has from what i can see an immobiliser box on the inj pump? + chip in the key. this wont work on the old 1995 corsa im fitting it to. how can i bypass this? ive been told i cant and i need to use a older 1.7td inj pump from a astra/calalier? Help!

hi, may not be any help but putting a non immobilised fuel pump will get it going if the problemb is the immobiliser. had a similar problemb with a 306 dturbo

the immobiliser is easy to connect up, I've added it to my '89 MK2 Astra.

Wire the fuel pump to a switch? Or a feed that comes on off the ignition.
