A quiet day in terms of photos taken today, mainly because of the weather, but also because i didn't see that much that particularly inspired me.

The stand turnout was great, i think i counted 18 cars at about 10am, but then more came so a good turn out!

What time were you watching the drifting? It looks like you may have left before the huge crash..

That ex popstar bloke decided to drive his skyline into the barrier right in front of the stands and the took his mate out in another skyline.

It certainly livened up the otherwise boring sport that is drifting...

Yeah, we left the grandstand about 10 minutes before that happened, after failing to learn to accept that driving around 2-3 bends in the slowest possible way actually constitutes a race i decided i'd had enough.

Was better when it dried out though, but only coz it was (slightly) faster and theres was mucho tyres smoke.

im pretty sure it was shane lynch's (pop star drifter) team mate who drove into the barrier then shane went in the back of him.

was a mega crash thou!

Close, but it was Shane Lynch that drove head first into the barrier before the fisrt corner, as he bounced back out he hit his team mate. His team mate did not stand a chance.
