LET First startup = nothing?

Yesterday i went to turn over my freshly built LET and got absolutely nothing, no fuel pump no starter motor nothing...

The small box underneath the ecu with the yellow connector makes the hazards come on along with the ticking noise, could it be something to do with this?

Also i had to cut and re-crimp the other wires the ecu side of the loom (the 3 small connections plus the big relay)
Could it be that ive done this wrong??

How does the ecu earth itself? is it earthed through the loom or earthed through the cradle it sits in bolted to the chassis?

any help or advice on this will be gratefully received

as long as you have done everything colour to colour in the drivers footwell then that shouldnt be your problem.

does the EML light come on when you turn the ignition on?
did you remember to connect ignition live up in the engine bay?

When you put a battery on it. Lock it then unlock it. That will turn the alarm off.
Also check the above

i dont think ive got ignition live connected now i come to think of it, whereabouts does this one connect to on the car

its the thin black one normaly somewhere round the top of the gearbox, it normaly connects to the big round multy plug :nod:

yeah thats the one, cheers fellas ive gotta go to work shortly but ill try that soon as i can and let you know how i get on

yeah switched live is what yo need to connect i reckon, wire it to the single black wre on he round multiplug above gearbox

faling that check all your earths and gearbox strap etc
also live to battery from ecu

yeah shes all earthed and ecu has power connected, its definitely the switched live ... i vaguely remember leaving it out as i wasnt sure what it was for or where it went

Will get a chance to pop down sunday as im on an early shift
