Hello there :) New to this great forum ... i would like to ask a question regarding the suspensions ... yes i have searched and read but none of the threads covers this aspect ...
I'm from Romania and i have a 1998 Opel Astra F 1.6 8v ...... i would like to lower my car and add a more "rigid" feel since currently i feel like driving a hovercraft , but i can't afford a full suspension kit ..

Would lowered springs work along with the standard shocks ? I will install brand new shocks , but standard ones ... Also , could you pass me some links to online shops that sell sport springs since i can't find any over here...

Thanks a bunch

First of all, best website to use is: www.tuning.co.uk - not sure what carriage will be to Romania - but they are some of the cheapest springs around - and great quality!

You will be fine using standard dampers - but personally I would have springs that lower by 40mm MAXIMUM - otherwise the handling will not be so good.

Good luck, and welcome to the site!
