big big thanks to wayne for helping sort my car out at his saturday, it took us all day due to a few set backs. i left waynes around 9pm. left frankley services which wayne took me to so i could get home from there. and the M6 is closed 
due to roadworks, im following the sat nav so not worried, follow the nav and it took me in a circle. theres no where at all to pull over as its motorway. no hard shoulder and traffic everywhere.... around in a circle twich trying to fumble with the sat nav but its having none of it!
i rang neal and told him where i was. he directed me pretty much all the way home as i didnt no the area at all. he saved my bacon really. so massive thanks to neal who saved the day
