mfd??

i have the standard sport mfd (if thats wat its called)
it shows the time fine but the date has gone scince head unit went in (not to bothered tbh)

but the temp gauge used to work now it just shows --.--C

anyone know what to do to fix?

To sort the date, just pull the unit out and on the black plug, find and remove the red cable with red trace

Sounds like your temp sensor has failed.

You'll find it on the underside of the bumper on the passengers side, it just clips in and out so easy to replace. They're easy to find in scrappys as they're used on lots of models (mines is from an Omega) but they cost about a fiver new off eBay anyway.

u can also try resetting the mfd (kind of) by holding down both buttons on the stalk for about 3 secs. might sort it out, to totally reset the mfd juts unplug it or disconnect the battery. good luck
