howdy...
just wanted to see if anyone could help me out i had the astra gsi 93 parked up in the garage for about a year an it started first time every time then i moved the car out into the garden as i needed the garage for a diffrent car but i tryd to start the astra today an nothing happend has a new battery an the ignition lights never came on?? it trys to start but just keys over an over. the lights an horn seem to work just no dash lights an the electric windows aint working?

any help appreciated

sounds like battery if windows etc aint working ??

defo the battery flat as you like mine dose this when the battery gets flat

its a brand new battery.. i was just out there again i think it might be that little white thing where the ignition wires go in where the key starts it.. its not the fuses iv looked them over like 5 times an the eaths seem alrite. its getting 2 new quarter panels so i was thinking of just ripping all the looms out an fit with new ones as im gonna strip the car anyway. the battery light use to fade aswell when the car was running

did the battery light stay on when running. If its fading when the engine is running sounds like a duff alternator

tryd about 4 of them with that battery light problem an still seems the same an even tryd a good one out of a mates astra an the light still stayd on fad.. i think im better of just ripping all the wires out an redoing the lot.. will be less hassle looking for the earths an broken wires.

thanks for all the helpful comments lads

got a wire missing off the battery terminal? mine has 2 small wires as well as one large one... might be missing a live off the battery?
