Mk3 Astra rear speakers???

Can anyone tell me the size of the speaker holes in the parcel shelf mounts?
I would guess at 4".

Pretty sure they're 10cm's - I have a set of Pioneer's monuted in my rear shelf that are the exact same size

VERY difficult to fit nay aftermarkets in to those location's though - no holes line up - and it's all injection molded plastic.

yep I was going to do something similar, only with the actual speaker grilles cut into a 6x9 shape and 6x9 speakers sat in place on top of the old grilles so that only the gold magnet thing on the bottom of the speakers was underneath the grilles and so it fitted easier, still not done it yet as I want to change the grey bits to black first.

And you don't need adaptor brackets, unlike the front ones (wherer you can have 6.5" or 5.25")
