MOT help

hiya all would my car fail it's Mot if the mirror cover missing of the passengers side mirror and the exhaust back box's is gone ,heat shield rattling on the exhaust any advice on these would be great

mirror cover would be fine but a blowing exhaust is a fail if they cant test emmisions.

As Mike said, an exhaust blow is a fail.

thanks both I'm trying to get a replacement back box's. just worried about the heat sheild rattle and mirror cover cant see anything else that would be a problem im changing the rear lights to GSI ones and checking the bulbs at the same time

heatshield wont be a problem... possbly if it is dangling off, but in that case just cut it off and bin it.

i have been told by a few on here to take them off just not sure if anything will happen with the heat as the one's by the fuel tank and the others by the handbrake cable well what i can see any way
