after a hour or so trying to squeeze the lights in i got them in, the fit isnt that great not really that happy with it as it as at the mo, i got gaps on the indicators they stick out basically u can fit a pound coin in the gap. cant see it in this pic but ill show u another later.

In the bang i damaged the clips on my grille so decided to get one off ebay found one but was green so needed to spray it, it is debaged and iv decided to use black mesh for the middle was undecided between black and white but as my car is gonna be black and white i thought this would be the best option.

So grille on and front lights on, i dont like the part on the grille where the phase 2 V was, so im going to fill it in and respray it when i get some time, i have asked a question in the body section on best filler to use, so any recommendations let me know. also let me know on what u think the color match. it is a little different but dont stick out too much does it?

Now hah just a little warning if anyone els is gonna get these i got them on ebay from Germany cost me around £80 including delivery what i thought was ok, now the wiring they with is terrible they spent about 2 mins wiring up these clusters had major problems with em mainly the brake lights on/off/stayon/stayoff was doing my head in so i decided to use my existing cluster and just tape it on, no one can see what iv done works well does the job.

Here is a pic with the lights on.

Cheers mate its getting there, and yes i need it low and new wheels soon, guess thats why yours might fit better than mine, as mine is one piece.

Looks good, gonna keep my eye on this one.
If your going to tint your windows, you best off getting a pro to do it.

Looks fly hun, Love those back taillights

Thanks :)

Well its Sunday and well the sun was shining so why not go out and do some bits on the car :).

Got some new dark smoked side repeaters so stuck them on, cause the light ones i got didn't go with front and back lights.

Started treating my rust on the inside arches, and taking off the bump strips, all started off good actually sanded down the rust spots and added some rust killer.

While the rust killer was doing its job started on the bump strips, had my hair dryer going all good had both sides off in 20 mins :) then came the dreaded adhesive / sticky stuff.

This stuff was a bitch to get off really was been all day trying to clean it off got 2 different types off tar remover, i have now got most of it off but run out of light so need to go back on it there is only a little adhesive to take off thank god, here is a pic in the dark sorry will have better ones up soon. I think its looks so much better with the side bumpers off.

looks like a bloody birds nest plus a few spiders nests in there hehe, all that green stuff is what is all around the car in gaps and tight places, i think the previous owner had it under a tree. now weather is getting better i can finaly get rid of it.

So managed to get a bit done today none of it actually finnised though what annoys me, got the treated rust to re-spray and clean rest of the adhesive off, also i know have the top brackets to spray.

Yes mate looks real nice :)

Yea im finding the black **** rleee hard 2 remove

:( lack of patience dont help either :P

Indeed, i got some stuff from halfords tar remover and iv just been using a plastic scrapper, and scrapping the **** out of it adding more tar remover then switch sides kept doing that till i got most of it off.

Well got a few new bits for my car, K&N Air filter, some new HT leads and spark plugs.

Decided quickly why i still have some light to fit my new filter, so took old stuff out including the piece of hose that goes into the airbox as mine had a split, got a new one from breakers.

now this is what my airbox looks like with the piping out, can i also take out the bit of piping on the bottom right hand side ? had a little tug but wasn't going anywhere didn't know if it was an actual part if the airbox.

Here is the new filter in place nice restricted air box with new air filter :)

Sunday i will fit new leads and spark plugs, also im in the process of spraying my roof straps white as we speak they should be on sunday. still need to spray inside of arches where i treated the rust last week.

Seeing this has convinced me to pull my finger out and remove my bump strips.

Did you remove the resonator from underneath the airbox? When I changed my air filter, I found that K+N did'nt do one for the 1.4 spi, so I got one for a 1.6 mpi, and it fit really well. Did you do the same?

Lookin good. Hows it sound now with the panel filter and the airbox modified?

I have only started it up, and it sounded better have not drove it yet.

Andy the filter fit in fine no problem there, i will see what its like 2nite when i drive to my girlfriends, i might drill a few holes on sunday. Yeah looks so much better without the bump strips just make sure u got some cleaning stuff ready and give your self a day to do it.

looking great mate...sounds like you have some good plans for this...I will be keeping an eye on this one.lol

oh..andy...is it ok too remove the resonator from underneath???I wasnt too sure about that so I put it back on after changing my wings??
