My estate lexie

What's stopping it opening properly? Cable not pulling enough?

From what I can see. It's the bolt that acts as the throttle stop is too long. Will be having a look in the morning before I go to mfn tomorrow night. Hopefully it's just a case of find a shorter bolt or cut this one down then see what the wideband says on full throttle if I manage to get them fully open

Update: so this year has properly sucked balls with this and I've completely lost heart with it. No interest in another engine conversion as it's just more teething problems to deal with so time to break her. If anyone wants anything then pm me and I'll get back to you asap. Don't ask about the shell, it's being scrapped regardless. Nobody is having her. I'm probably gonna regret this but it's time to move away from Vauxhall and have something jap, which I've been wanting for a while. I'll still be around as I plan to get a mk3 again as a runaround

Hi, there!
Nice work for an even nicer car you had here ... Unfortunately you lost your heart to carry on ...
If you don't mind, i have a question and a kind request (addressed to whoever is able to help):
could anyone tell me GM code for parking brake cable fitted to rear disc brakes (I suppose you recall this from your conversion from drum brakes to disc brakes, I did that too for my estate, but I got stuck, nobody could tell me for sure which kind of parking cable will fit troubleless).
Thanks in advance!

Well, I figured I'd just jump on and update. She's been off the road now since 2016 and today she finally went. Pretty gutted and I will miss her but definitely on to better things.

I hope everyone is well and plenty of the original mk3s are still around and kicking.

I've dropped some pictures below to show the absolute state she was in, those years parked up have not treated her well. I also got some closure on the terrible job the bodyshop did in 2013, the o/Sr arch was full of filler and barely even welded.

That's me signing out.

Hi Mark. Thanks man, and all the best to you, it was always a pleasure with the mk3oc family who quite often are in my thoughts as it was such good times always.

I'm now driving an e46 bmw that I also take drifting and currently building a Nissan 200sx s13 for drifting as well so still very much dabbling, but now no vauxhalls.
